There’s been a lot of hype lately about the Golden Globe awards – which is fun if you’re into celebrity. But here in tiny old New Hampshire, we don’t have an awful lot of personal fame. Sure, there’s Adam Sandler and Seth Myers, and Sarah Silverman, but they’ve mostly moved on to Hollywood or wherever the stars may roam!

Yet, we do have our own celebrities, our active businesses and the people behind the scenes that drive our economy. These are the real “stars” that help fuel our community! The Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce is hosting its Annual Gala this Thursday, January 9th, in which they announce the Community Service Award and the Windsor Brooks Business of the Year Awards for outstanding local businesses and community members in the area. The keynote speaker for the event is Taylor Caswell, Commissioner of the NH Department of Business and Economics. Prior recipients of the Award include Hannah Grimes, W.S. Badger, and C&S Wholesale Grocers. And who knows, perhaps the 2020 award winner will be Masiello Employment Services!

We’ve been proud to be card-carrying members of the Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce for many, many years – this is definitely not the first time we’ve been to the gala – nor our last! Our entire team will be in attendance and is looking forward to mingling, networking, and seeing who is chosen as the best of the best in 2019. We’ve seen much success working with the Chamber (our business profile is here.)

If you are (or wish to be) involved with the great work from the Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce, the sponsors and hosts of the gala, be sure to check out their website and become a member. The entire Masiello Employment Services Team hopes to see you there!
