Masiello Employment Services is excited to be taking part in the First Annual CAREER EXPO for Windham County, Vermont!  This event takes place Thursday, September 26th, from 2-6 p.m. at The Quality Inn, 1380 Putney Road, Brattleboro.

Whether you are new to job searching, or an experienced job seeker, here are some tips to make your job fair experience a success:

• Create a game plan – Visit the Expo website   www.vermontcareerexpo.com to find out what businesses will be there and to do some research about the companies that interest you most.
• Dress for success – leave the jeans and t-shirt at home.  Business casual is usually best.   First impressions are important!
• Best foot forward – When you talk to an employer, greet the employer or representative with a smile, a firm handshake and good eye contact.  Ask questions about a specific position or a department you might be interested in.
