And so, we come to the close of yet another terrific year here at Masiello Employment – bringing us to our 35th year in business! From our humble beginnings in the 1980’s we have continued to serve clients and job seekers alike for three decades and counting. And, we could not have done it without the support of you, our customers, and the countless people we have been able to serve throughout this time. Our thanks to everyone who has continued to adapt and grow and work together for the common good of connecting employers with employees.

Overall, 2016 has been a great year for our Team – we have seen a bit of (Tweet) action from Footloose star Kevin Bacon, strategized over proper holiday party behaviors, and enjoyed another gorgeous autumn here in NH. We discussed such topics as the best questions to ask in interviews and how to survive the waiting period after an interview. We discussed temp jobs and seasonal jobs; we survived Black Friday together, and we ran in the Clarence Demar Marathon (in spirit, at least – not all of us are runners!) We experienced an intense but fleeting game of Pokémon Go and discussed the role of texting in your job search. We covered much ground!

And, of course, we filled jobs. We helped candidates. We counseled employers. We worked to bridge the gap between employers and job seekers alike. We coached. We listened. We networked with our peers and within the community. We did some good work for charity and had fun in the process and stayed in tune with the arts and community events.  And we staffed. We placed. We hired. We onboarded, and we negotiated. We read countless resumes and job descriptions. As always, our work is never done – we still have many job openings for you to peruse on our website.

So, while we are happy to sweep 2016 behind us and bring on the excitement and potential of a new year, we are even more glad to reflect on numerous great experiences in the current year, doing the job we do best, in the community we enjoy calling home.

If you are from the Monadnock Region, or wish to relocate to Keene, we are here for you no matter if you are hiring or looking to be hired – as we have been for the past thirty years. We hope that you continue to call on us in regard to anything and everything staffing related and we wish you a happy and prosperous 2017.
