24th Annual Winchester Pickle Festival
The staff at Masiello Employment Services are extra excited to spend the day in Winchester, NH for their Annual Pickle Festival on Sept. 24th from 10am – 4pm. You’ll find our team raffling off some great prizes at our booth!
This incredible community event hosts over 5,000 people who come together to celebrate Polish Heritage and everything pickles! This FREE event is not-to-miss, with great food, family-friendly activities, live entertainment and local vendors.

Then wander the booths enjoying locally-made crafts, gifts, and specialty items. Register in advance for the Pickle Parade, Pickle Eating Contest or Canning Contest to show off your pickle pride.
Fall Family Weekend Inn at East Hill Farm
Autumn is the perfect time to stay and play on the farm. Friday, Sep. 23 – Sunday, Sept 25th, The Inn At East Hill Farm will be hosting a family weekend with tons of special activities for all ages.
Of course, there will be farm favorites like milking, visiting the bunnies and butter churning. Plus, you’ll find super fun recreational activities, like their ping pong and corn hole tournaments or dodgeball on the lawn. We recommend inquiring in advance about their horse riding program.
There will be plenty of fun for everyone! Take part in arts and crafts, bingo, an indoor pool, a glo dance party, a cocktail party, story time, and more. The weekend includes 2 nights lodging 6 meals. So the only thing you’ll need to worry about is how you want to get your harvest on.
3rd Annual Keene International Festival
Looking for a unique way to experience the richness of our community? Head over to the Keene International Festival this Saturday, September 24th from 11am – 3pm. This free event features performances, food, games and activities from all around the world.
This year, you’ll find that Yahso Jamaican Grille, Kotgetsu at the Boiler Room, St. George’s Greek Church, Royal Spice, Finnish Mama, Granita Entoteca, Tito’s Taqueria, Andrzej’s Polish Kitchen, and the Keene International Market have teamed up to bring you deliciously diverse flavors.
Beyond the great food, this festival showcases an international market and musical and dance performances, including an Indian Bollywood Dance Flash Mob. You’re invited to join in the fun with cultural games like Mancala or Carrom. You can also get decked out in Indian henna or observe traditional fabric spinning demonstrations.
Savor the Harvest
If you’re looking for events near me this weekend, you can almost always find a local farmers market and get in on fresh locally produced flavors. This weekend, The Farmers’ Market of Keene and the Winchester Farmer’s Markets are both held on Saturday Sep. 24th from 9am – 1pm.
For September, both markets have partnered with the Cheshire County Conservation District in thanking local veterans (with valid ID) with fresh local produce. They are offering $20 vouchers per market each Saturday!
