“In golf as in life, it is the follow-through that makes the difference.”
This quote has much meaning to us based upon our role as professional recruiters. One of the hallmarks of our job is to stay connected and informed with each and every aspect of our local business community. We are always meeting new people, networking, and maintaining our business relationships, and it is no surprise that in staffing, the follow through is almost as important as the delivery of services. The key to success in this industry is staying the course, looking to the future, and being top of mind when it comes to hiring.
Masiello Employment is fortunate enough to be able to continue to network socially with peers and friends as we plan to participate in two upcoming golf outings, each of which provide benefits to the community in which we work and play. The first is with Keene State College (a fundraiser for their sports program), and the other is with the Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce. We hope your company can join us as a team, or a sponsor, for either of these golfing events.
On June 3rd, the Masiello Team will be at the Keene Country Club playing along in the Keene State College Golf Classic. This is a fund-raising event designed to engage alumni and community members for the benefit of the Keene State College Athletic Program and its 400 participating student athletes. We encourage everyone to join us to support the event. And for those who make it out, Masiello Employment will be sponsoring hole #11 so keep an eye out for Katrina and Sherryl!
And a few weeks later, on June 22nd, the team will be participating in the 41st Annual Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic, as we have for many years, also held at the Keene Country Club. In addition to playing a few rounds, the office mates will be having a little grown up fun running a Monte Carlo game at our sponsored hole. And, of course, all proceeds going straight to charity. The overall benefit of the tournament is to support the Greater Keene Chamber and the businesses within their reach.
While golf is certainly both fun and an excellent escape from the office, the value is in seeing folks we have not seen for some time, meeting new people, and shaking the hands of both old and new friends! A little fresh air and sunshine (fingers crossed) make it all the better.
We look forward to getting outside and playing a little golf, as well as staying in touch with the many prominent members of our tight-knit business community. When you think of staffing, think of Masiello. We are in it for the long term; we’ll leave the ‘holes in one’ for those who rely on luck and not relationships.
