winterAre you cold yet? We are. This frigid air came just a little too early this year with consistent below freezing temps throughout November. Coupled with the end of daylight savings time, it seems we went full force from autumn into the dead of winter! Ski resorts are opening in the Granite State, and plow guys are getting their trucks ready. It seems like everyone is preparing for the frigid chill of January to start early this year and hang on till springtime.

So is this normal? Expected? Climate Change? Or just Mother Nature being moody? We wonder if there will be any reprieve in early December or if the deep freeze is “on” for the season?

We decided to ask New England’s staple weather resource – the Old Farmer’s Almanac for the Southern NH/New England Region. Here’s what they had to say:

Rain to snow, Sunny – and cold. You know what? Old farmer’s wisdom seems to be dead on once again.

Ready to see what the full season holds?

Wet and Wild. We can’t wait…?

So bundle up, invest in some on-sale Gore-Tex outerwear this Black Friday, and welcome to wily New England weather – the greatest love/hate relationship there is!
