How to Register…. New this year, registering for these sessions will be done using the NH Department of Labor’s web site. The link below will get you directly to the training Event page or you can just go to Labor’s web page and navigate to News & Events. This web application allows you to register 24×7. To enroll yourself, a friend or co-worker requires an account which can be set up and activated in less than 2 minutes at anytime of day. Only the person actually performing the enrolling is required an account. Once you have your account scroll to the session that best meets your needs. Sessions are in ascending order by date. Starting August 22, U.S. employers will be able to complete, sign, scan and store Form I-9 electronically. A new ruling passed by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement also states that employers must complete Form I-9 within three business (not calendar) days of the date the employee is hired. CONCORD – Governor John Lynch today signed into law his new, innovative jobs initiative aimed at helping workers and companies recover from the recession.
New Hampshire Working is a three-part initiative introduced by Governor Lynch. It is designed to help companies and workers avoid layoffs, help unemployed workers return to work and provide training to help workers get new jobs.
“Our number one focus must continue to be helping companies and workers recover from this recession,” Governor Lynch said. “We cannot and we will not rest until everyone who wants a job can get a job.
